The Senior Corporate Accountant will drive integrity of financial data and improvement projects for the accounting system and processes. With aim to provide timely and accurate financial information, whilst maintaining and improving internal controls.

Timely and accurate interpretation and analysis of financial results and other financial information
Coordinate, prepare and review results & reports required by the group on a Local, APAC and Global level
Facilitate compliance with tax obligations – company income tax, transfer pricing, GST, FBT, payroll tax etc.
Review and/or perform accounting of lease right of use assets/liabilities, income tax assets/liabilities, workers compensation, and of other accounts as assigned (including review and/or preparation of balance sheet reconciliations)
Co-ordinate and manage internal and external audit
Management of treasury and banking function, including ensuring adequate cashflow to support business needs
Coordinate accounting data with other departments, locations & divisions as required
Prepare P&L accounts of brands as requested
Ensuring compliance with the accounting standards and Group Policies
Drive process improvements and value add initiatives to continuously improve all aspects of accounting, results preparation, reporting, accuracy and customer experience
Provide guidance and support to junior team members
Perform project work as required
- Ideally 10-12 years’ experience in an Accounting or similar role (across a variety of functions)
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- CA/CPA Qualification
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Able to work autonomously
- Self-driven and highly resilient
- Strong analytical aptitude
- Ability to build rapport and communicate with all levels of stakeholders
