About the role

The Events Coordinator supports Pontoon marketing with planning, production, and execution of Pontoon’s events and experiential campaigns. Programs include but are not limited to internal conferences, customer-facing events, trade shows, C-suite programs, and online events.

What you’ll be doing
  • Provides coordination and administrative support on internal and external event production for Pontoon, including location sourcing, logistics coordination, contract negations, communications, event assets management, proofing materials, expense management, materials ordering and tracking, speaker/presenter support, and other duties as assigned.
  • Executes event project plans for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.
  • Collaborates and works efficiently with marketing team, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Plans remote events including but not limited to run of show, registration process, online production, managing breakout rooms, presenting slides and videos, and audience engagement.
  • Assists with post-event metrics and ROI reporting.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
About you

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience of project coordination preferred with an understanding of events or marketing.

Experience with or curiosity to learn about technology for registration, scheduling, remote events, and collaboration.

Travel up to 15% may be required.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong project coordination skills with ability to execute multiple projects on-time and within budget and scope.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills required with ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and multiple events, and keep stakeholders updated.
  • Creative problem solver who is solution-oriented and makes recommendations on processes and improving production efficiency.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
